Newgate Education Center, Inc. provides education, vocational training, personal training, and employment placing for people who need it. Their goal is to help these people to become successful in career jobs. Newgate Education Center, Inc. specializes in teaching automotive repair. They provide this training free of charge.

Newgate Education Center, Inc. accepts all passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, vans, trucks, RV/campers, boats, snowmobiles, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. They need vehicles that are newer than 1986, unless they are in good running condition. Since most of these vehicles are used for automotive repair training, any vehicle from 1990 on can be accepted even if it has mechanical problems.

2. Then either drop off your car at the 2900 East Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN, M-Thurs. 8:30am to 5:30pm, Fri. 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Sat. 9:00am to 1:00pm or if you live in the Twin Cities area they will pick it up for you.

The big advantage to this program is that they use the cars well. They use most of them for teaching valuable skills and they use approximately 50 of them for giving to low-income single mothers who need a source of transportation.
