Car Donation in Honolulu
Hawaii is a great place to live and give. There are many charities worthy of car donation in Honolulu. It is impossible to list them all, but here are 2 of the more deserving causes.
Hawaii Humane Society
The Hawaii Humane Society is a shelter for homeless animals, a placement agency, a rescue operation, and an educational advocacy organization. Located in the heart of Honolulu, the Hawaii Humane Society acts as a mediator between people and animals. Its mission is to teach people and promote the humane treatment of all animals.
The Hawaii humane Society accepts all cars that are in running condition, have clear title in Hawaii, and can be driven to the Aloha Auto Auction. The steps to your car donation to the Hawaii Humane Society are easy. All you have to do is:
1. Fill out both copies of the Car Donation form and print out.
2. Mail or fax one copy to the Hawaiian Humane Society at:

3. You can drop off your car Monday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; or Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Aloha Auto Auction in Mapunapuna at:

4. Bring your car, donation form, title and most recent registration and safety check to Aloha Auto Auction. The staff of the Hawaii Humane Society will help you through the process.
If you need to know how to get to the Aloha Auto Auction, here are the directions:
From Honolulu: On Nimitz Highway, head toward the airport, turn right on Ahua Street. Follow Ahua Street approximately 3 blocks until you reach Aloha Auto Auction on your right at the intersection of Pukoloa Road and Ahua Street.
From Ewa: On Nimitz Highway, head toward Waikiki. Turn left onto Ahua Street. Follow Ahua Street approximately 3 blocks until you reach Aloha Auto Auction on your right at the intersection of Pukoloa Road and Ahua Street
The advantage to this program is how easy it is and the fact that the Hawaii Humane Society does the donations themselves. It is unique that they do the auctioning themselves.
