Big Brothers Big Sisters traces its roots to 1904 when a group of businessmen in Chicago decided to befriend children who were known to the Juvenile Court. Since then, hundreds of Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies have been organized to serve over 500 communities and more than 100,000 children in the United States.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization that has one purpose and goal: to provide friendship, emotional support, and guidance to youth through positive adult role models.

In Chicago, the first Big Brother - Little Brother match was made in 1969. More than 6,600 children from Chicago and suburban Cook County have had their lives enriched by relationships with caring adults in our community since then. It is this positive influence that enables these children to become constructive members of our community.

Car Donations are organised through the Cars for Kids’ Sake scheme. This is a fast and trouble-free way to donate your car, truck, boat, or motorcycle to support kids who need positive role models right here in our community. All you need to do is call 1-800-710-9145 and they’ll take care of the rest!
