LA and its surrounding areas have a number of deserving charities that operate Car Donation schemes. It would be impossible to list all of these, however here are three of the more deserving causes that you can give old automobile to.
The Crohn’s And Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, voluntary health organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Known collectively as inflammatory bowel diseases, these chronic digestive disorders affect up to one million Americans. CCFA was founded in 1967. It’s mission is to cure and prevent Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.

Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue is a 501©3 non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes abandoned golden retrievers in a six county area of southern California. Those counties are Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Ventura, San Diego and portions of Kern.
Dogs are rescued from shelters and acquired from owners who can no longer care for them, or who no longer care to keep them. Each dog is evaluated for temperament to determine the best possible placement. The GRCGLA Rescue is a strictly volunteer organization and would welcome the donation of your vehicle. The Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition has fed the homeless in the Hollywood area, every day, seven days a week, for twelve years. The organization was founded to fill a gap in services to the homeless in the Hollywood area and currently provide one complete, nourishing meal a day to 125 homeless people, and for many of them, it is the only meal they have.
Until recently, they had the use of kitchen facilities kindly donated to them but now, the kitchen is being demolished, and they are in danger of losing what little help they have been able to offer. Federal funding is and always has been inadequate to the need. A vehicle donation in California, in running condition or not, would contribute badly needed support.
