Established in 1999, The Caring Closet serves the homeless and poverty-stricken families in the south Chicago community. They work with many area charities to provide valuable resources to those struggling to get back on their feet. The various programs offered by the Caring Closet are designed to meet the growing needs of families in the south Chicago area. Breaking the cycle of poverty and despair in an area hard hit by unemployment and economic hardship, leading to homelessness and incarceration.

The Caring Closet arranges all vehicle donations themselves and will pick up your vehicle free of charge. They handle the title transfer requirements and provide you with a tax-deductible donation receipt at the time of pick-up. To arrange a vehicle donation call 773-947-9043.
